I just got this cardigan so I cannot comment on the quality, but right off the bat I can tell it's so soft and comfortable. I'm an adult and I weigh about 150 pounds and I'm 5'3. I have a pretty athletic build - i found the size XL (14) worked well for me! I was bouncing between xl and xxl because ...of what i read in reviews- people in my weight/height range recommend both. I think that both sizes would work well… If you wanted it to be a little bit baggier, I would go for for xxl. The one I got isn't tired or anything like that, or even overly fitted, but it's a little bit closer to my size. I already have two baggy cardigans from athleta (size small prana wrap and xs long prana wrap), so i am happy for choosing the XL girl size. Hope this helps! ps- athletha should make the womens clothes this soft

I am 5'3, 110 lbs, barely B bust, 51yo. I love open cardigans but the one for women too long so I read reviews of other adult women wearing these, that they are true to size tho description says relaxed, and ordered XL based on sizing chart hoping I don't look like the Increduble Hulk in girls cloth...es. It was very loose. I went into store to try Large & that was still too loose. There was no medium to try. The drop shoulder is not flattering on me but I hoped a dark color would camouflage it. Too bad it didn't work tho the length is nice.
