Not the best fit or look but could not beat price
I have ordered this hat in both colours to match the bags I purchased from Athleta. Unfortunately, my recent order arrived with 3 missing items, including these both hats. I was denied a refund with no explanation given. The customer service agent then suggested that I dispute the charge with my bank or the freight company. This is unacceptable! The package arrived with the original Athleta seal intact, and the shipping label clearly stated a weight of 0.2 kg. It is physically impossible for 4 items - including these 2 hats - to weigh so little. The mistake was clearly made by Athleta during the fulfillment process. I wanted to purchase these hats anyway, so I asked the customer service agent if they can match the price I paid in my previous order and honour the shipping charges. I was told that I have to pay the current price and also fthe shipping charge, then I can claim the difference. Oh well... with my recent experience - "NO, Thanks!" I do not understand what happened to Athleta... A few years back I had missing items experience, I sent a proof with photo evidence, and the situation was resolved really fast. I even was encouraged to buy more and of course recommended their products to friends and colleagues..., promoting Athleta over Lululemon etc. If their current goal is to chase away long-term loyal customers, they are definitely succeeding :( I know you can do better, Athleta!
