Bottoms pilled after first use

This is a really cute swimsuit on my daughter. However, the bottoms have begun pilling after wearing once and the stitching is coming loose at the seam on the waist. I was considering buying another color but I'm not sure that these will hold up for even one summer.

My daughter fell in love with the bikini set pictured on the model, but only the bottoms of the set are for sale! The top is not on the website (or in stores). It's April — prime swimsuit buying season. Why would you only have half a set available? Please stock the entire matching swimsuits you're showing on the site!
