These fit perfectly, and the lining isn't too tight (which I have found to be true of another popular brand of running shorts). I absolutely LOVE these shorts. They feel weightless and cool, the liner does not pinch or squeeze anywhere, and the waistband feels solid, giving just s hint of support. I can run, squat, lunge, deadlift, and even sit on a rowing machine without flashing anyone or having them ride up. I wish these came in more colors. I don't like the current colors offered and I have the black ones. Would love to see more, please!

I bought my first Athleta running shorts and tanks when my daughter was 2 years old, she is now 17!  After thousands of miles and great times, my shorts are finally looking a bit ragged.  I was so happy to find these shorts as replacements.  Perfect length and fit - I am 5' 9", 130lbs and size S.  I am happy that the built-in briefs and stash pockets remain and that mid-rise is back!  These shorts are much lighter and breezier than my old ones, which so far is a plus.   PS:  My old shorts will go into the painting/gardening pile - they are ratty, but still going strong.
