Phew, I guessed at the correct size. Ordered same size as the crewneck t-shirt, and same color. NOT pleased that the product store hang tag (not content and care tag) was affixed in the regular fabric portion, and not within a reinforced seam part. When its done this way, there is a VERY good chan...ce you receive the shirt with a RUN or a snag already in the fabric. For reference, i am 5'6", 34C chest, 130 #. I can wear renew tops (short- long-racerback-) in sizes ranging from small to large, depending upon color-heathered/solid- within the same style. Ugh.

I typically like the Renew line, but I have noticed a decline in the quality of the material used in the past year. My older Renew tops are slightly thicker. I could deal with this, however, the real issue here is this top is MUCH TOO SHORT. I'm not sure what is going on with Athleta, but they have ...stopped making Tall shirts for a lot of their everyday lines and if you are tall or have a long torso, I would not expect this top to fit. If I size up (from an L to an XL), I get a tad more length, but the top looks too baggy. Don't leave us tall ladies out in the cold, Athleta. We need love, too! You already got rid of the Speedlight line, which I adored, and I am running out of options. Guess I'll try the Momentum, but it's not as nice for an everyday look. Such a shame.

The top itself is great and pretty true to size. I absolutely loved the plum color from Athleta, but a little disappointed it doesn't precisely match (I have plum leggings and they are lighter than the shirt). I understand it's somewhat due to material differences, but it takes away from trying to make a cute matching set

First, this is a beautiful top. Size wise, unlike previous years' flurry tops where I had to go up two sizes to a medium in order to avoid the overly tight look (I'm 5'2", 111 lbs, 34b) I only needed to go up one size in this top to get a fitted but comfortable non skin tight look—without back bra marks, etc. Material is lighter especially compared to previous years' flurry crew necks and turtle necks which felt more cold weather appropriate. Reason for the return is that the color title of pale thistle implied—at least to me—a light thistle color meaning light violet pink. The color is more like a pale Hubba Bubba or Bazooka bubblegum. Pretty. But not what I hoped for.

I like the ribbing on this shirt. I can dress it up or down! It does fit close to the body, though, so if you want extra room, you'd need to size up. I'd like to see more colors in this!

Yes, they are very fitted. Maybe size up because they will show any flaws you don't like. However , if you get the correct fit they are incredibly flattering. Great cooler weather workout shirt. Have bought 4 recently. At 58 I'm loving my workout gear!
