I have three pairs of Athleta's Midtown Ankle Pant, which I love, but I bought those in a 16 and have lost weight since, and now they are really too loose on me (currently 5'6", ~160-165 lbs, usually a 12-14 in pants depending on brand). Plus, I never liked the drawstring at the waist on those pants...
Versus
I love these pants but they started pilling after I had them for 2 weeks. I have had them for a month now and it has gotten worse. It's disappointing because they are such a great pant and i would give them 5 stars if it weren't for the pilling.

I'm 4 feet 11 and 110 pounds. I really wanted ankle pants, and the size 4 was more of a regular length. They were also a little big. I think the 2 would have been too small. Returned. But good color. I have the essential tee dress in this color in a size small and like it very much. It shrunk a tiny bit in the wash and it is perfect size now.

I was interested in getting some light weight "tech" fabric pants for an upcoming summer trip to Europe and these showed up often in reviews and travel blogs. I'm 5'1" and have a really hard time finding pants that fit, but these petite pants were perfect...the fabric is light weight but soft and breathable, I love the elastic waist and pockets and they are SUPER FLATTERING. It's very rare to tick all boxes with a pair of pants that are ordered sight unseen online, but these delivered. Highly recommend and they come in a lot of cute colors, too...I got the navy but will get black and probably a few others soon!

By far my favorite pants to wear to work! They're just so flattering, they hit it just the right spot around the anckle and they are just so light and airy, for sitting at a desk or public speaking! For reference I'm 5'9", 31" waist, 43" hips, 33 1/2" inseam and I ordered a size 8.
