I have three pairs of Athleta's Midtown Ankle Pant, which I love, but I bought those in a 16 and have lost weight since, and now they are really too loose on me (currently 5'6", ~160-165 lbs, usually a 12-14 in pants depending on brand). Plus, I never liked the drawstring at the waist on those pants...
Versus
I love these pants but they started pilling after I had them for 2 weeks. I have had them for a month now and it has gotten worse. It's disappointing because they are such a great pant and i would give them 5 stars if it weren't for the pilling.

These pants look and feel great! The elastic waistband is comfortable and the fabric feels nice and light! Even though it's an athletic pant they can be worn as a casual pant depending on what you wear it with! Love them! Highly recommend them!

I love, love the Brooklyn ankle pants I bought several pairs three years ago. Decided to get a new color and replace the navy ones I wear weekly. BUT—the waist is one inch smaller than my current size 12's and the waistband is super stiff. Will go to store to try size up but worried they will be baggy. Alternatively, I will try on a bunch of 12's to see if some waistbands are larger.
