I have three pairs of Athleta's Midtown Ankle Pant, which I love, but I bought those in a 16 and have lost weight since, and now they are really too loose on me (currently 5'6", ~160-165 lbs, usually a 12-14 in pants depending on brand). Plus, I never liked the drawstring at the waist on those pants...
Versus
I love these pants but they started pilling after I had them for 2 weeks. I have had them for a month now and it has gotten worse. It's disappointing because they are such a great pant and i would give them 5 stars if it weren't for the pilling.

absolutely love these pants! The quality is outstanding — you can immediately feel how well they're made. The fabric is lightweight, breathable, and has the perfect amount of stretch, which makes them incredibly comfortable for all-day wear. For reference, I'm 5'9", 140 lbs with an athletic build, and I'm between a size 6/8, I chose 8 because I prefer a slightly looser fit. The fit is exactly what I was hoping for — relaxed without looking baggy, and still very flattering. They drape really nicely and move with you. These are perfect for warmer weather since they're so light and breathable. I've worn them for everyday errands and hiking, and they perform great in both settings. Stylish enough to look put-together, but functional enough for being active. Definitely a new favorite in my closet!

These pants are great, summerweight fabric, very thin and breathable. They have a flattering, textured tone and tone stripe that runs down the side leg for an elongating look. They have a very comfortable wide waistband and a cute notch at the hem. I only take away one star because the fabric is very thin, it doesn't offer much coverage for lumps and bumps!
