I wish I had kept count of how many tees I've purchased from Athleta. I could be a record breaker. This however is one of my favorite. The fabric is exceptionally soft and substantial enough not to be see through. I love the seam detailing down the middle of the back that gives a little interest a...nd improves fit. The length is long enough not to be cropped but short enough to be "in-style". Time will tell how it washes and wears. I've been disappointed in the pilling on some of the tees I've purchased at Athleta in the last few years. I don't think that should happen to tees that are never dried or at least not for a long time. I don't expect to have that problem with this one due to the fabric.

I was looking forward to replacing the basic tees in my wardrobe with this Essential V-Neck, but I was sorely disappointed by how short it was. I am large-chested (G/H cup) so yes, my chest takes up a lot of real estate when it comes to t-shirt material, but the bottom of the shirt barely covered my... belly button. The material felt high quality and felt like it would hold up to solid wear and washing. Just super-disappointed that I had to return all 3 that I ordered since I'm not cut out to wear crop tops. I have run into this with other shirts from Athleta (and other brands) - similar to their shorts, I just wish they came about 1" longer! I am only 5'3" so having things be too short should not be a problem for me. I am going to have to order again in "Tall" to see if those are better!

Sleeves oversized. I am 5'8 and shoiulders too big for me - unusual for the size I order. The sleeves are a little extra long too in case you like to make sure full coverage. Definitely opaque which is nice.

I have this shirt is virtually every color both short and long sleeve. It is truly perfect! I always love a v-neck style and I hope it comes back this spring in all the staple colors and new fun colors.

this is my favorite t-shirt - so soft, the v neck is flattering, and i love the material. it's not too thick and not too thin. i have this in 4 colors now. it's just slightly longer than cropped, so if you like a longer tee i would order a Tall. I am typically a Large and also sized up to XL in this shirt since i dont like anything that is form-fitting or restrictive. I have a 38D chest

Most things I get from Athleta are wonderful and fit well. This would be the same except it's really short. One deep breath and I'm showing my midriff. Great for some, not for me. Maybe better in a tall but those don't go to 1x.
