I previously ordered a similar jacket from Athleta in medium but it was quite large, so I returned it for a Small, which was still too large, so I returned it for an extra-small, but it just didn't fit right. Therefore, I was delighted to see the Salutation Crop Jacket, especially because I am short...-waisted and a shorter jacket looks better on me. I ordered it in a small petite, based on my prior order, but the Salutation Crop Jacket is much much too narrow in the bodice, though the arms fit fine. I am returning it and would like to order a larger size, but I don't know if I should go with a medium or a large...
I have several non-cropped Salutation jackets, in XXS and XS. I ordered Raphanus pink in XS in this cropped version, but it is too tight in the shoulders and arms so will return. I would exchange for a S but I don't care for the color with my skin. It's more of a pepto pink than I care for - it seem...s to be somewhat softer-colored in the pics online. I also prefer the non-pieced neckline of the earlier Salutation jackets. Not sure why they went away from that. I like the crop length on this jacket and would buy one in a different color, sizing up, but I'm not keen on the colors currently available.

This jacket was purchased on a "final sale-No Returns" sale so I couldn't return it and will have to throw it in the trash. I Have several of these jackets all in a size Medium Petite and they fit perfectly. I love them. The sale jacket I ordered was a Medium Regular (rather than petite) but I went ahead and purchased it figuring an inch or two longer on the length would not be a problem and the sleeves could be rolled up.UNFORTUNATELY the jacket was not too long but WAAAAY too short and also so tight that I couldn't zip it up. When I compared it to the jackets I already have it was about 3" shorter and 2 sizes smaller in fit (oddly the sleeves were to Long as I expected!) Since it is a cropped style the incorrect length make it impossible to wear without looking ridiculous even if I left it unzipped. I understand that "no returns" items are always a chance, but this one should NEVER have been offered for sale at all.)

I have 2x this jacket in the regular length style, S & M. Both fit great, can completely zip up. Bought this crop style because some colors were on sale. Bought a M. Couldn't even come close to zipping. Bought an XL and while the sleeves are loose, the body fits just like my regular length ones. Love this jacket, the fabric is so soft and love the low profile of the collar. Just don't like the sizing difference
