For reference I am 5' 2", 120 lbs & my girls are DD's .. I sized down to an XS and I should have gone with an XXS Petite! Now they are sold out :( & most likely I will I will be having the tails altered as I do quite frequently. If not, the tail goes clear down to my mid thighs, no thx! Plan to r...emove approx. 6"! It will look original & fit much more flattering not to mention I will still have enough of the shirt tail left to cover my bums with leggings. The overall fit is a very relaxed loose fit with a few inches in the sleeves to spare that I can cuff up, the arm length runs very generous. Very flexible piece as one can wear it for work, play or as a bathing suit coverup. I prefer to use it with leggings and a sports bra as the textile feels and looks very sporty. I NORMALLY WEAR A MEDUIM AS I PREFER LOOSE FIT- THIS SHIRT RUNS HUGE!!

I got my typical size medium and I should have sized down… it was soooo relaxed in the front it looked like a maternity shirt. I've been disappointed with Athleta's button down shirts in general, but I really wanted to like this. Loved the garnet color, but just not for me.

The quality and the craftsmanship of the shirts was excellent. I was looking for a quick dry/wrinkle free garment for travel, but I didn't think this qualified. Your sizing was very generous, even the smallest size swamped me.

I purchased both the XS and XXS to compare. I ended up keeping the XXS because it fits best and works well on its own or layered over a tank. The XS just felt like too much fabric. With the XXS I can close all the buttons without any pulling. For reference, I'm 127 lbs, petite, a true 34B, and on the thinner side. In Athleta bottoms, I usually wear a 0P or XS

Was not sure if I would love this or not. When I opened it up, it looked huge (size s) but when I tried it on, it fit amazing. Is not baggy on but hangs perfectly in all the right places. Did not look like an oversized shirt on. Drapes very nicely and material is thick and sturdy.
