For reference I am 5' 2", 120 lbs & my girls are DD's .. I sized down to an XS and I should have gone with an XXS Petite! Now they are sold out :( & most likely I will I will be having the tails altered as I do quite frequently. If not, the tail goes clear down to my mid thighs, no thx! Plan to r...emove approx. 6"! It will look original & fit much more flattering not to mention I will still have enough of the shirt tail left to cover my bums with leggings. The overall fit is a very relaxed loose fit with a few inches in the sleeves to spare that I can cuff up, the arm length runs very generous. Very flexible piece as one can wear it for work, play or as a bathing suit coverup. I prefer to use it with leggings and a sports bra as the textile feels and looks very sporty. I NORMALLY WEAR A MEDUIM AS I PREFER LOOSE FIT- THIS SHIRT RUNS HUGE!!

I got my typical size medium and I should have sized down… it was soooo relaxed in the front it looked like a maternity shirt. I've been disappointed with Athleta's button down shirts in general, but I really wanted to like this. Loved the garnet color, but just not for me.

This is a beautifully made shirt! It is quite oversized so I returned my already sized down shirt and ordered a smaller size. I don't have the body shape or height to pull off too oversized. I love the fact that I can now buy in petite sizes. Thank you for that. Anxious to receive my new shirt in smaller size. This will be very versatile and cross seasonal lines.

I love the crisp fabric and that the color is bright white instead of an off white. I did have to exchange for an L even though I normally wear XL according to the size measurement chart. I'm excited to get the exchange soon so that I can start wearing the shirt with jeans, dress pants, as an overshirt, with joggers, etc. White shirts are so versatile and I will be reaching for this one over all my others that require ironing to look good.
