Athleta sizing is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going get (end up with). I'm 4'10"/107lbs and am a 32D. I knew the size small wasn't going to work just by looking at it. The medium fit (and many people might like how it fits them) but I prefer a fit that doesn't contour to my... belly button indent or overly accentuate my bust size. It was a bit too fitted for me. However, the large worked great because it gave just a little extra room without looking big or oversized but still had a fitted shape. I bought two different colors (clay and coastal teal) and love both. I did not buy a petite and the regular size is less of a crop and more of a short t-shirt.
The fabric is mostly modal so it feels soft to brush your hand on it. But the fabric also has an odd stiffness to it, and this stiffness varies by color. The toasted brown heather top is stiffer than the sakura pink top, for example. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but is something to be aware o...f as it means the fabric doesn't really drape softly, unlike most modal fabrics. On the other hand, it also means the top looks a little dressier when paired with work clothes. I'm 5'6", 125 lbs, and wear 34B. It does run small; I usually get XS but got this top in a S.

I like the size small. I normally get x-small, but the small is form fitting for sure but not tight and falls right at my waist. Have it in white too. Great shirt.

This is a very nice top! Love the fabric. It hugs you beautifully. The reason for the 4 star rating, it is too short for me. I ordered the petite first and returned it right away because of the length. Then I ordered the regular size thinking that would be the right length. Nope! Still too short for my taste. Bummed because I love this shirt! Reference. 5'3" 120lbs - ordered a size small both times.

I ordered this orangey hue in this signature rib crop tee, in a large because it is fitted, and didn't think I was going to love it as much as I do! It's really cute with my joggers from Athleta.
