The fleece is thick and cuddly. The half zip a nice design feature. I ordered a tall and I am 5"5 and the dress skimmed m knee. All that would work except for the pockets! Yes, they zip closed. Purchased for travel, this dress is comfortable and stylish. Love the dark green color, and it will look good with tights or layered over leggings. It's a little heavier than I expected, so can work as outerwear on cooler days layered with a tee or tank.

The reviews are generally good, yet I was still skeptical since the Tall merchandise can be hit or miss at Athleta. This dress is a win in the both the arm and torso/leg length for my 5'11" frame. TTS. I would not dry this though - I would hang it.
