Wow, people weren't kidding when they said these ran small! I'm typically XS and I bought S and waist is so tight it's hard to pull on. Thankfully they fit so I can use since it was final sale. Can't say how much I dislike drawstring esp since these are so tight they'd never fall off so it's totally... useless. I guess the extra cargo pocket is nice—has a flap to help things stay in. Bought because of super low price but would never keep otherwise

I have always worn a size small in every Athleta bottom that I own (regardless of style & type). So even though these were on final sale where I couldn't return them, I bought both colors in my usual size small. I could not even fit one leg into these pants. The entire waistband is literally slig...htly larger than one of my thighs (& I have normal size thighs). I'd recommend anyone buying these - especially on final sale where you can't return them - to buy 2 (maybe 3) sizes larger than you normally wear. Don't waste your money buying your actual size. I will say that OTHER than the size issue which makes them useless to me, they do look cute - with tiny details & pops of color that make them look high quality. The material also seems very thin - so much so that I imagine that they'd be cool enough to wear even in summer.

I bought a small petite - my true size and couldn't get them past mid thigh. I do have more of a curvy shape, but the drawstring makes these very inflexible. Just looking at them out of the package - they looked too small compared to my other leggings. Overall the material does seem comfortable though.

I love these cargo leggings! I do recommend to size up because of the waist band, it isn't as stretchy as the other leggings without the tie waist band. It is a little snug going over the hips, But once they are over the hips, they fit like a glove! These are my go to when I'm out running around. I wear them to the gym as well and I get so many great compliments!

Definitely a slim fit, these were really tight for a small when I'm usually XS. Soft and comfortable enough - I'd size up if you aren't into a tighter fit with a thin material.
