Really surprised at how much I like these leggings! I read a lot of reviews and decided to try them for myself and I'm glad I did. Athleta is my favorite brand. The Salutation stash is my favorite legging for working out, athleisure, and going out. I recently moved to the mountains and needed a flee...ce lined legging without it adding "bulk". These are wonderful in the way they fit, stretch, the coziness, the warmth, and style. I'm usually cold all the time, these are the right warmth for me. I wore them out and about and was cozy and stylish, not bulky but maybe thicker than salutation or rainier (which I also have) kind of like wearing your favorite thicker boot socks for comfort and warmth but oh so cute! I ordered 3 fleece lined styles and kept each one; these altitude, the rainier legging, and the rainier jogger. I like all three but these Altitude are my favorite for comfort, warmth, and style; while going out, being here at home baking, doing chores, or lounging. I chose black to go with everything and my normal Athleta size small. These look great with the 1/4 zip sweatshirt or a cropped top or any top tucked in. These hold in my tummy but aren't tight and I can wear my boots or tennis shoes. I will take the advice of another reviewer and wash inside out and air dry.
These feel rough, like the slightest thing will snag them, they will likely loose shape, and like they will for sure pile with friction. I felt a little sick with dissappintment when I pulled the 3 pairs out of the package to wrap them for my daughter for Christmas. She Needs these for winter track... training season here in the cold Midwest and I had been So excited to find and invest in what I expected to be some good ones to last her for years to surprise her with. She sprints and does pole vaulting outdoors and it is really tough to be so cold during early season. The colors are cute and I hope Athleta will address thier expensive priced cheaper than cheap material on these and bring the same green colors back again next year. We had the hassle of returning 2 and kept the black pair out of desperation unless we find something else in time b4 she has to use them. She is 5'2, about 110, xxs p did fit her well, just sadly 1 star aweful material. 2 stars bc colors and style.

Best winter leggings. Runs a tad larger (more stretch than the rainier) but so comfortable and warm. I bought my usual size and they fit great. I wear them walking the dog and going to the barn when I am not riding. Love these! Especially this cold winter in the northeast!

These are warm and very comfortable. I'm barely 5'2", 110 lbs and I purchased the medium, but I don't like a tight fit. I live in Colorado, and they are my choice for hiking in temps in the 30s, but wouldn't wear if I was hiking off-trail for fear of snagging them. I bought them when they were at a discount, which I considered a fair price. Would not buy otherwise; they're great but I just wouldn't pay that price for leggings. They are the heaviest fleece lined I've been able to find.

I've only worn these a few times and the material pilled after a few washes.

I received these for a Christmas gift. I loved them! I have only washed and hung to dry, never put in the dryer. After not even 2 months the bottom of one of the legs seams is unraveling. They are also pilling all over. They now look like cheapo leggings not at all something that cost this much money. I definitely do not recommend these legging.

As the previous reviewer expressed, this legging is not made well. This is the first time I have bought them. It is stretched out after only a few outdoor walks, and has started to pill. For the price, I am very disappointed. They are warm, however, and will be good inside my house during the winter here in Maine. I would not wear them for errands and shopping and I definitely have stopped wearing them for walking.

Good fit. Cozy for errands when cold out or for a run when it's about 10 degrees or less. The pockets are great. This is my second pair.

I've always loved the fleece lined leggings from Athleta. I've worn them since 2017 and only have had to replace them once prior to this last time. I hike in the White Mtns of NH and it gets into the negative degrees. I've always remained warm. I recently bought a new pair because the fleece was wearing out on my older pair from repeat washing. I got the Stash which replaced the Polertec and I was quite disappointed today on my hike. They are thinner and I could feel the difference. Today was a warmer day too at 25 degrees. Unfortunately it looks like I'll need to find a new pair elsewhere for those super cold days.

I purchased these leggings a few months ago and loved them initially. But after one wash, the stitching in one leg started to come apart and the fabric pilled. I asked Athleta to replace them, which they did, but the replacement pair had the exact same issue (stitching pulled out on one leg after one wash). Also, the replacement pair does not fit the same as the original pair despite being the same size. It's too bad, because the leggings are warm, but the defects make them definitely not worth the price. Buy something else!
