Really surprised at how much I like these leggings! I read a lot of reviews and decided to try them for myself and I'm glad I did. Athleta is my favorite brand. The Salutation stash is my favorite legging for working out, athleisure, and going out. I recently moved to the mountains and needed a flee...ce lined legging without it adding "bulk". These are wonderful in the way they fit, stretch, the coziness, the warmth, and style. I'm usually cold all the time, these are the right warmth for me. I wore them out and about and was cozy and stylish, not bulky but maybe thicker than salutation or rainier (which I also have) kind of like wearing your favorite thicker boot socks for comfort and warmth but oh so cute! I ordered 3 fleece lined styles and kept each one; these altitude, the rainier legging, and the rainier jogger. I like all three but these Altitude are my favorite for comfort, warmth, and style; while going out, being here at home baking, doing chores, or lounging. I chose black to go with everything and my normal Athleta size small. These look great with the 1/4 zip sweatshirt or a cropped top or any top tucked in. These hold in my tummy but aren't tight and I can wear my boots or tennis shoes. I will take the advice of another reviewer and wash inside out and air dry.
These are the warmest tights I have found so far, much thicker than lululemon thermal fast and free and lorna jane amy thermal tights. The fabric is thick fleece and a lot looser with minimal compression. The outside has a cotton/jersey look that pills easily (unlike the 'shiny' look of lululemon ti...ghts). They do look thick and bunch up around creases. At first I thought they would be too loose because a size down from my usual wasn't available, but I have found them useful to be able to wear second merino leggings underneath for walking around or running in winter. The regular length is close to full length on me (170 cm) which I prefer. It is a true high rise. I need to tie the waist drawstring to keep them from falling down. I usually feel the cold and I find these warm enough around 0C for walking and I have used them for running with a second pair of merino in -10C to -15C +wind chill and was warm but not sweating. After a few washes, these have pilled a lot on the outside which significantly detracts from the appearance.

These leggings are awesome for the winter! I wouldn't workout in them as I would imagine you would melt, but for everyday life looking good while being extremely comfortable, these are what you want! This pine color is gorgeous! (I'm an athletic and muscular 185)

I was disappointed in how this product pills and does not look good after not many wearings, Apparently, based on what I am reading the leggings not made last year still look good. Unfortunately, I purchased the newer model which does not hold up well.

I have the originals. After wearing these 2x they are piling and falling apart. I'm, an outdoor enthusiast. If you're like me DO NOT BUY THESE. They are not functional for activity.

These pants are cozy warm and hold their shape. I have eight pairs of them. They are my uniform with your turtleneck sweaters for the winter. I like the ones with and without pockets and have been wearing them since the pandemic highly highly recommend.

These are great and exactly what I am looking for. However, they run quite large. I am normally a 12/14 in pants from Athleta, I ended up getting a medium.
