Really surprised at how much I like these leggings! I read a lot of reviews and decided to try them for myself and I'm glad I did. Athleta is my favorite brand. The Salutation stash is my favorite legging for working out, athleisure, and going out. I recently moved to the mountains and needed a flee...ce lined legging without it adding "bulk". These are wonderful in the way they fit, stretch, the coziness, the warmth, and style. I'm usually cold all the time, these are the right warmth for me. I wore them out and about and was cozy and stylish, not bulky but maybe thicker than salutation or rainier (which I also have) kind of like wearing your favorite thicker boot socks for comfort and warmth but oh so cute! I ordered 3 fleece lined styles and kept each one; these altitude, the rainier legging, and the rainier jogger. I like all three but these Altitude are my favorite for comfort, warmth, and style; while going out, being here at home baking, doing chores, or lounging. I chose black to go with everything and my normal Athleta size small. These look great with the 1/4 zip sweatshirt or a cropped top or any top tucked in. These hold in my tummy but aren't tight and I can wear my boots or tennis shoes. I will take the advice of another reviewer and wash inside out and air dry.
For the second year in a row i ordered altitude leggings only to have to return them. The material is sloppy and doesn't lie smooth , rather forms weird unsighly folds at all the wrong places. Additionally the fabric lacks the warmth of the real polartec fleece on the inside. By far not as warm as ...the polartec powerstretch thights of years past. There is no powerstretch to shape you up and hold you together. The twine used to saw the seams is of cheap quality and starts to turn fuzzy and unravel before the first wash. And finally and really ridiculously they made the leggings about 2 in shorter than before. Really? Winter thights that leave a gap between thights and socks. Who thought that was a good idea? So I ordered 3 pairs last year and brought 2 back. The quality despite hefty dicount was not worth what i still had to pay. Same again this year. 2 pairs same problems go back. I will have to look somewhere else. Title 9 seems to be still good.

Cheaper quality than previous ones I own from past years. The quality of the material is thinner, feels cheaper, more elastic-like and a less cozy feeling. This is not the first style they have changed for the worst. The quality of Athleta has gone downhill in my opinion and they are using less natural fibers. Very disappointing! I will be looking elsewhere going forward for warm winter work out clothes. If you value customer opinions stop changing what is good to make items cheaper quality but charging more money. Quality matters.

These leggings are amazing! These make it possible for me to get in those 5am 18 degree miles! Seriously worth the investment! After buying one pair, I immediately purchased a second! Fit is great and don't add bulk!
