I loved the look of this coat from the minute I saw it, and then I saw it was On Sale. 🎉 I checked the sizes, keeping my fingers crossed the whole time 🤞 they would have my size. Yes! My size was available! 🎊. I purchased it immediately and waited for it to arrive. When I got the email sayi...ng it had been delivered, I hurried to the porch to get it but it was nowhere to be found. After searching everywhere, we decided to check the mailbox and there it was! 😳 How could that coat be stuffed into a mailbox? That is one of the reasons I LOVE this coat. 1. Light weight, but warm. It can be folded down and squeezed into a large t-shirt sized envelope, yet it will keep me warm. 2. Beautiful color. I can wear it with anything and it matches my new mittens I just got! 3. I liked that it didn't make noise when i took it on & off. 4. The length is a perfect length & covers parts that I like to keep hidden. I am so glad I purchased this coat! ❤️

I have a jacket from Athleta that I bought in 2018 and I love but is due for replacement at some time, so I bought this jacket as a replacement. Unfortunately, however, this newer version is very much inferior to the 2018 version of similar jacket from Athleta. This new version has no thumb holes ...and not even any cuffs at the end of the jacket sleeves, there is no interior zip pocket, there is no fitted elastic midsection piece around the back middle of the jacket to make it more fitted and slimming, and there is not even any drawstring cord to adjust the hood for inclement weather. I love Athleta products and buy most of my clothing from here, however it seems they are trying to cut too many corners (or costs) and are making things much cheaper and far less practical than they used to, which is losing the core attraction to the brand. Unfortunately, I will now start to look elsewhere for go-to products with the most practicality.

This is gonna be great for winter. I've never owned a long coat before and I'm excited to wear it. It's very thin so I hope it's as warm as I think it will be will be nice to not be suffocated by a humongous coat.

Usually Athleta is a step above, this is disappointing, cheaply made, issue with zipper, not the same light puffer from a few years ago, and where Is the adjustable bungee cord for a more fitted look like it says on the detail description?

I agree with Kristi's evaluation ! I also am trying to replace a 2018 version of this coat but this is inferior : no thumb holes or cuffs to keep the cold out and no drawstring for the hood. No ability to adjust the waist as well which is what gave this coat its shape ! Please bring back the old version !

this is a great coat, warm even though it is light. I had last year's version on which the bottom zipper broke. I just bought again, in a bigger size thinking that might help. Just re-zipping this one, I just received, caused the darn zipper to stick and the coat is plenty big as it runs large. I'm still keeping it, because I loved last year's until the zipper became an issue. I am just crossing fingers but am realistic that if zipper is already an issue, it may be like last year's model.

Hands-down the best puffer for plus size women. This is my second one. Last year, I tried on every brand imaginable until I found Athleta. Last year's coat is deep green, this year I got black. I got another because last year's coat went everywhere and went through everything, and still looks amazing. These wash well and go over any outfit whether dressy or casual. Light, warm, durable, no added bulk, and so chic! Puffers are a necessity in New England, and it's so awesome not to look like a linebacker in it!
