I purchased the navy pair but ultimately had to return them. I'm disappointed by what feels like a noticeable decline in Athleta's quality standards, specifically their decision to cut costs on design details. One example that really stood out to me: the crotch gusset is no longer dyed to match the rest of the fabric. As someone who pays close attention to the finer details, this is a significant issue for me. I've been a loyal Athleta customer for over a decade, and I've observed this cost-cutting trend across many of their bottoms. In several instances, they've used a generic black gusset regardless of the legging's seasonal color, which has led me to return multiple pairs. At this price point, that kind of attention to detail shouldn't be optional. It should be a given.
