I am 5'10" 140lbs and wear a size small. I love the way these pants fit and feel. They are a little thicker and so soft and stretch and tight in all the right places! I hope they add more colors soon!

I purchased this item in red (M regular) and really wanted to love these, but the quality is very poor for the price. One ankle seam was open out of the bag, and the fabric is NOT plush as stated. This is the quality I would expect for $16.99 at discount store. I wore them on a beach hike in 42 ...degree weather with a bit of wind and my legs and thighs were cold. The sizing is accurate, but the pockets are useless unless you have a TINY flip phone, or just need to stash a single key or a credit card, and the crotch area fits weird- baggy in front. I have been a faithful Athleta customer for many many years, purchasing all of my workout and casual bottoms but am so disappointed in the quality and inconsistent fit of the current products offered over the past two years that I will not likely purchase from Athleta again. I had no issue paying $100 or so in years past for Athleta leggings because they were superior to all others. No so anymore. Athleta should be ashamed of their quality and their prices. An appropriate price for these leggings would be about $20. IF they were sewn correctly.

I like the rainier tight because of the fact that it fits me at my waist, I order a toll because I like it to come further down on my legs and even though I'm a small, I order a medium because I don't like it to squeeze my body.

I have been purchasing Rainier leggings for about four years now. A year or so ago. The quality is not the same. The recent leggings are thinner, the black leggings are not as black (I've compared older leggings to newer and there is a significant different in color), and there is little compression. I purchased two pairs recently and idiotically wore one pair, but the other, non-worn pair is being returned. I am finished with the Rainier leggings.

I have been a fan of Rainer leggings for a long time. In fact I constantly look for them at the start of every fall. Just got the reflective ones both reflective one and am so disappointed in them. I compared them to my older reflective ones and these new one fall short of the great reviews I am reading. Thinner, barely any compression, look cheap. Both in xxsp and should be same length but the borialis is longer than the gray/black reflective ones. And they stretch out after wearing them for an hr. So sad. While I did get them 30% off even @that price IDK that I am going to keep them. ATHLETA YOU DISAPPOINT YET AGAIN

Love these! Perfect fit and ao soft. They are a must for cold weather. The insulation keeps you comfortable when it's chilly out. They don't feel bulky at all and let you move just like regular leggings.

These leggings just felt so nice pulling them on. Soft and smooth, and a medium thickness for warmth. I wouldn't workout in these, as I would melt, but I have worn this variety for winter hiking and they are awesome for that! The Borealis color is stunning! (I'm an athletic and muscular 185)
