Athleta Girl fit me with an appropriate rise and used to be as good quality. Why would I pay Athleta price for Old Navy quality? So disappointed. I'm returning these and don't know that I'll buy anything until the material is brushed again.

I've been buying these leggings for my growing daughters for a few years. They last, have the perfect snug fit without pinching anywhere and allow for great all day movement. Whether it's a sport or daily wear these leggings are the go to.
My daughter has been wearing these for years. The "updated" material is definitely a downgrade! The material is cheap-looking shiny spandex. Shiny! They are not the thick warm leggings of the past. Time to find a new go-to store for black leggings. These are a hard pass. Hey Athleta - if you're going to completely change your clothes, it's time to give them a new name. Still calling them chit chat leggings misleads customers into thinking they are buying the chit chat leggings from last seasons. These are NOTHING like our chit chat leggings. Using the same name is offensively misleading. Bring back the old material!
