On the website these shorts are described as having a "high rise." But on the physical shorts, it's labeled as a "super high rise." Normally I love a high rise, but the rise here is so high about an inch is curling at my waist. For reference, I'm 5'4", leggy, and pear shaped.

I find that the softness of the material which makes them very comfortable also allows the band to roll down very easily if you have any hint of a tummy.
