On the website these shorts are described as having a "high rise." But on the physical shorts, it's labeled as a "super high rise." Normally I love a high rise, but the rise here is so high about an inch is curling at my waist. For reference, I'm 5'4", leggy, and pear shaped.

These shorts are nice, soft and buttery. They are high waisted and have pockets on each side of the hip. I'm 71 and I feel they are too short for me. I ordered a size medium which fit very snug. I am 121 lbs and 5'3. Not sure if I am keeping them. I did order the top to match in a medium with a 34/ bust. The product is great and I love most ALL of their the patterns and design.
