Updated Trekkie Joggers

So I have last year's version, which is much more jogger than the new version, and I'm still not sure which pair I like better. For reference, I'm a 4R in last years version, sometimes a 4-6 in Athletas stuff, sometimes a petite but typically a regular length. Last year's version 4P was too short in...

Prefer the older Trekkie North Jogger design.

I'm curvier on the bottom, narrower in the waist. I have a hard time finding pants and swear by the original trekkie north jogger design (size 2 regular) that are a slimming versatile staple with an adjustable waist (so it still fits when the material stretches out). I tried this new version which i...

These are definitely true to size and hang nicely on your body. Not too big looking and I feel made me look slimmer ::: which is always a win!

Great color and fit.

The Trekkie is my go to pant. Launders easily and dries quickly. Maintains color and shape. Can be dressed up or down.

Very comfortable

great material , run a little large but not enough to return. Color a little browner than expected but still nice.

Great fit, but not great fabric

I was looking for pants for hiking. I like the fit better than the Highlands legging as they are a looser than a legging. I would keep these pants except for the fabric. Like most hiking pants, they are made with a fabric that makes a lot of swishing noise when you walk.

Had to go down one size.

I love these pants, but unfortunately the sizing on the first pair I bought was off. They run big so I had to go down to a size 8.

The Worst Pants

I rarely leave reviews. But, I have worn these pants 2-3 times. And, every time, I am reminded how much I can't stand them. The sizing is bizarre. I am a very straight size 4 in JCrew, Madewell, Anthropologie and others. When out of the package and after washing, they are kind of ok. After wearing for 15 min, I could fit two of me in them! The waist falls down and are baggy from the knees up. One must be extremely curvy/thick and size down two sizes to, perhaps, make these work. I will never buy Athleta brand again when others, like Vuori and Lululemon have true sizing and better quality.

I had so wanted these pants to work for me, as I have waited for years for this style to come out in the garnet color. After ordering 3 different sizes, I chose the one that fit me best, 2 Reg. I wore them for a museum visit, not hiking. Two hours in, they were bagging out, and I had to pull the elastic waist in and loop it. Four hours in, I had gathered up 6" of the elastic at the waist and knotted it so the pants would not fall down. The legs bagged out as well, with each move, even unloading the car trunk, stretching them further. I couldn't wait to return home and take these off! I have owned them less than 30 days, but because they were worn, I guess it's my loss. Don't make it yours too!

Work appropriate with PJ's comfort level!

I love the fit, not too tight in my legs, and still gives me shape. The fabric is so lightweight and flexible these will be great for at work, on a hike or just to look put together when running around with my family. You can dress them up and down as well which is a huge bonus for me. I have both the Navy and Garnet color.
