These are great running shorts. I will only buy high rise shorts. These are basic but do the trick. The pocket fits my phone well. They go with everything. I find Athleta sizes all over the board for different clothing items. I wear a large in leggings and a small in the linen pants and shorts. I am usually a size 30/medium in things, and I got these in medium, so I think they run more true to size than some of their other bottoms.
