I usually wear 4" shirts, but these 3" work well. I love the bright vivid white option! (Not off white, no hint of yellow!!!) Shorts wash well but take a bit longer to dry given thick material. I wear an S in Athleta joggers, and I took a M in the shorts. Not as soft as forever fleece but heavier ...in weight. Nice option for summer mornings before it gets too hot. Minor point but larger metal tassels caps on drawstring can get annoying. I may cut off.
Expected to be like last year's Retroterry fabric, but it was a bit thicker and "rougher." They felt a bit too short. A miss for me. White was not see through. I ordered 2 sizes since everything seems to run big, but these were true to size. I did not need to size down.

I really love these shorts, but the 3" style is a bit too short to wear into the world at my age (57). I bought my usual size in Athleta (small) and they fit great. Love the fabric, too. I'm not goint to return them, but they'll relegated to the house and an occassional dog walk around the neighborhood. Add that extra inch and I'll buy them in every color! #sweepstakes

What's not to like? The fit is comfortable (roomy so if you want them more fitted, size down). The fabric is thicker, like your comfiest sweats. I like the mid rise style on these. Great pair of shorts to wear for running errands or just lounging in style.

I love the fit and cut of these shorts. They are soft and high quality. I haven't found shorts that fit this well anywhere else. I had purchased the 4" but they felt boxy and wish the 3" weren't so popular bc they've flown off the shelves. I purchased a small and x-small and while the x-small fit the small were more comfortable and stylish.
