The dress is super cute. The fabric is thin and breathable, perfect for summer. As for the length, I'm 5'4 and I ordered regular because I saw other reviews saying the dress is short. I think the length is normal for a tennis dress. For 5'4, I could go either way. The regular length is good for me, ...not awkwardly long on me but I could order petite as well. Most importantly, I LOVE the fact that the dress doesn't have a built in bra or shorts!! Other people complain about that but that's a key factor I bought this dress. I prefer to wear my own sports bra under the dress. That way, on a day I wear this dress to exercise, I could wear a heavy duty sports bra while on the day I wear the dress just to walk around in, I could go for a lighter support option. And sometimes a built in bra doesn't fit well. Best of all, no built in shorts! I order matching shorts to wear with the dress and I like it because it makes it easy to go to the restroom!
The dress was rather thin, and when it arrived at my house and I tried it on, I was disappointed it didn't come with undershorts for tennis. I did, however, get some black Nike pros for under the dress (black Incase of stains, dirt, etc.) and if you wear a white bra with it, it can work as a nice te...nnis dress. I didn't really like how thin it was but if you have bought this dress for tennis use, you can make it a nice tennis dress with some undershorts. Hope this was helpful!

Absolutely love it!! Color is amazing, fits great and as a tall person I didn't think it was short just like other reviewers mentioned. You need shorts underneath but I'm used to that since I play a racquet sport and have many dresses like that. Highly recommend! Different and cute! I'm usually an XS in Athleta dresses but I bought the S and fits perfect so it might run slightly small.

Quite thin material and no shorts. You wouldn't be able to use it without purchasing your own shorts as there is a slide slit in the skirt. I assume they think people may want their own shorts? Happy to wear my own sports bra and not have that built in.

The color and style of this dress are amazing! I love the pleated backside. Thhis dress is marketed as a tennis dress when it says "Match point", however is does not have bottoms to support tennis or pickleball players. I have to figure out what bottoms to wear under this dress. Another downside is the light fabric which may or may not cling the body when somehting is worn under the dress. I love this style and hope Athleta designers will make built in bottoms for this style next spring;)

This is the third color I purchased (all on sale). I wear them to play tennis. I purchases Regular XXS and Petite XS, Regular XXS is a better fit for me (5'2", 90 lbs). They are thin so white one definitely show the colors of my sports bra and sports shorts I wear. Black and Sky Blue, you don't see. I live in Hawaii, humid, I sweat A LOT! The material is quick dry.
