I am 52, 5'2, 140 lbs and the petite medium look and feel like they were custom made. I have both colors and I am waiting for more!! "Dressy" sweatpants!!
First the good qualities - the fabric feels amazing, and the legs fit/hang nicely. The length was perfect, and the zippered pockets are a great feature. Now for the not so good qualities - I'm not sure who these would be considered mid rise for. The waist band is 4 inches tall, and it's another 7 ...inches from the bottom of the waist band to the crotch. That is an 11 inch rise. I guess high rise is trendy right now, but I don't love the old-man-pants-at-my-ribcage-look. And if I wore them mid-rise (just below natural waist) I would have to fold the waist band over, or pull it down. And I'd have to be okay with the saggy crotch/diaper look. Which I also don't love. I think the waist band also runs pretty big. I usually wear size 4 in athleta pants or size S, and there was a good inch or two of gap between my skin and the top of the band. I would try sizing down to XS, but I think the rise would still be a problem and the legs would be too tight. The takeaway: if you have a very long torso, or really love the ultra high rise look, and you have thinner legs and can size down from usual so the waistband actually fits, these are the joggers for you!

I love that these joggers come in a long option. I am just shy of 5'7" which means I'm always at the top of the regular lengths and the bottom of the tall lengths, so my joggers are always just a little too short. I originally ordered the medium tall and exchanged for the small tall which was a perfect fit. So, I would say they run slightly big.

I got these in a size M and should have gone with a S, which is my usual size. I would say they are true to size. The ankle is a bit loose but thats better than being tight. They don't wrinkle when sitting which is nice. I can wear anywhere and they look nice while being comfortable. #sweepstakes

These joggers fit great. They look nice, but also allow the flexibility of a jogger. I appreciate the thickness as they are a little thicker than my other Athleta joggers, which makes them easier to wear during the winter months in Minnesota.

Comments about Venice High Rise Jogger
This was my first pair of the Venice high rise joggers. Fortunately they're not too high rise (I'm short waisted). The waist is actually perfect in both height and snugness, makes your butt look great. I was surprised the fabric is actually more "track pants" than "jogger/sweats" than what I had expected, but I still like them. The only thing is I can't wear them in winter where I live because it gets super cold here, these will be three-seasons joggers for me...
