I am 52, 5'2, 140 lbs and the petite medium look and feel like they were custom made. I have both colors and I am waiting for more!! "Dressy" sweatpants!!

First the good qualities - the fabric feels amazing, and the legs fit/hang nicely. The length was perfect, and the zippered pockets are a great feature. Now for the not so good qualities - I'm not sure who these would be considered mid rise for. The waist band is 4 inches tall, and it's another 7 ...inches from the bottom of the waist band to the crotch. That is an 11 inch rise. I guess high rise is trendy right now, but I don't love the old-man-pants-at-my-ribcage-look. And if I wore them mid-rise (just below natural waist) I would have to fold the waist band over, or pull it down. And I'd have to be okay with the saggy crotch/diaper look. Which I also don't love. I think the waist band also runs pretty big. I usually wear size 4 in athleta pants or size S, and there was a good inch or two of gap between my skin and the top of the band. I would try sizing down to XS, but I think the rise would still be a problem and the legs would be too tight. The takeaway: if you have a very long torso, or really love the ultra high rise look, and you have thinner legs and can size down from usual so the waistband actually fits, these are the joggers for you!

I love the quality and fabric weight of the Venice jogger. I am 5'10", 230 lbs. I ordered the XL tall. Length was great, but overall fit was a bit snug for my liking. I am waiting for the Venice straight leg in black tall to become available. I tried the regular length and they were too short.

I love these pants! They run a bit big (but consistent with Athleta sizing for me - I find that I tend to size down on most things.) I'm 5'6" and a small comes to my ankles. This is my second pair of these pants. I still wear the pair I've had for years, and couldn't pass up grabbing another pair when they were on sale. They're very comfortable, stretch out a bit when first wearing them, but I don't find that they continue to stretch all day. Love the zip pockets. I cannot recommend these more highly!
