I'm 5'2" and most of my other pants are usually size 27. I typically wear a S or XS in pants without buttons. I bought a M in these, and they fit great. I wore them for a 5 mile day when the temperature ranged from 65 to 80 F, and I was never too hot. The hems rose up a bit when walking and pulled down if there was something in my pocket but nothing dramatic. I don't feel like the waist band moved at all or squished me as the day went on either.

I wasn't initially sure about this color but once I put it on, I absolutely loved it! These shorts are my favorite because the fabric doesn't hold hair or fuzz.

Sweepstakes: I took one star off because they ride up my thighs when I work out but this is a problem I have with 80% of my workout shorts. I love the comfort but I do go up a size in these shorts for my curvy backside. The pockets and length and thickness are perfect and they last forever!

Love the material and the compression, super smooth and great for intense workouts. They rode up a little bit (but not horribly) on my run. Wish they had anti-slip bands and would love a seamless front.
