I bought this in Bone color, which is a nice neutral change-up, especially for a blonde/ True Spring palette. Very pretty tone and nice cut. The material is nice too; it repels water very well. I've only worn it about 4x and the lower zipper tab got misaligned and stuck to the point that I could not... release it to open the jacket so I had to "step out" of the jacket. I took it to the local store and they were helpful. Fortunately my size was still in stock; they refunded me so I could rebuy a replacement. The sales associate said she had seen one other come back with the same complaint, which is disappointing because I was hoping mine was just a fluke. I will try one more time, but will return (not exchange) the new one if I have the same problem. The hardware itself seems to be of high quality but the zipper (teeth) does feel a little flimsy.

Don't know how quality control didn't catch this. I like the coat so much that I might keep it and wear unzipped. Not ideal for a rain coat. To Athleta designers: no woman's body is made this way ! I wonder if they used dimensions for a man. Men are built this way. The way this coat fits … is... just how a man's shirt fits a woman. Big in arms/shoulders, and very tight across lower waist and hips. In my case, I cant zip this coat. And it's so big in the top that I can't get a bigger size. My proportions are extremely average as I could have been a 'fit model'. Beware- there is some kind of mistake here. Still a pretty coat - SUCH A SHAME !

Stylish and truly water proof! Performance: I wore this during a 20 -minute walk in moderate rain. The water beaded off perfectly and my clothes underneath remained dry. Fit: I typically wear a Small, but I opted for an XS for a more tailored, "snatched" look. It fits beautifully, though it is worth noting that it's a bit snug for heavy layering. If you plan on wearing chunky sweaters or want a more relaxed, oversized feel, I recommend sticking with your true size.
