I live in Seattle where it feels like it rains all day everyday so you really need a coat that's functional beyond aesthetics. This one checks boxes I didn't know I had. I'm 5'1" and slightly curvy so I generally have to size up in bottoms compared to tops. This trenchcoat is snug around the waist ...but roomy around the hips. so I'm able to move around freely, sit, stand and do everything while it's zipped and buttoned up. it doesn't fit like a straight jacket limiting movement. The 2 zips also aid in this need for freedom of movement. it's got a thick feel to it but you will definitely need to layer with this one, for the cold and wind. Because of the slight weight to it, the hood mostly stays put. Sizing is good. I wore 2 layers underneath and I could wear my usual size S comfortably. Aesthetics are top notch. Agree with other comments. love it. I definitely recommend it.
Don't know how quality control didn't catch this. I like the coat so much that I might keep it and wear unzipped. Not ideal for a rain coat. To Athleta designers: no woman's body is made this way ! I wonder if they used dimensions for a man. Men are built this way. The way this coat fits … is... just how a man's shirt fits a woman. Big in arms/shoulders, and very tight across lower waist and hips. In my case, I cant zip this coat. And it's so big in the top that I can't get a bigger size. My proportions are extremely average as I could have been a 'fit model'. Beware- there is some kind of mistake here. Still a pretty coat - SUCH A SHAME !

Waterproof, attractive, and comfortable, this coat does not feel clammy. The only problem is that even in petite, the coat is very long and the sleeves are extremely long and wide, allowing water in the bottom if one needs to have an arm up to hold an umbrella or some other item.

I am 5'4" 123 lbs, 35.5" bust and hips, broad shoulders. I tried Small Regular, Small Tall, Medium Regular and Medium Tall. (I often have to size up in jackets because of my wide shoulders). I ended up keeping the Small Tall!!! I got the bone color, which is not my favorite white but I really wanted a light color for visibility. This jacket is very very comfortable and nice looking!!

5 stars for the jacket itself. The zippers, the cinch straps, the quality is great. The color is great. The downside is that is runs huge! Everyone in the reviews said it and they were not lying. The sleeves are, I guess, designed to be folded up which I don't love. I bought an extra small petite and probably need xxs, but they don't offer it. I'm keeping the jacket even though it's a bit oversized, but just be aware that it's is BIG.

I bought this in grey and love the color! The jacket is true to fit, comfortable and looks beautiful. I'm 5'6" and 125 lbs and bought the XS. It's lined, so is warm when it's cooler outside. Great length, too. Will be great for travelling.

For reference, I'm 6'2" and around 70 kg (about 154 lb), and the fit is perfect. I ordered the rain jacket in a tall size M, hoping for longer sleeves—and I got exactly that! The sleeves are nice and long, and the overall length is great too, even covers a bit more than expected. The fit is comfortable and looks good, not too bulky. It feels practical and well-designed for rainy weather. Overall, really happy with this purchase—exactly what I was looking for.

I Purchased this Rain coat for a trip to Seattle and the Coast of California later this year. The Coat is a nice length. Roomy enough to wear layers under for warmth and water beads up on fabric to help you stay dry.
