I have this dress in Every color (some doubles) literally wear daily in heat traveling a Lot. Love these dresses since first came out and also give as gifts and they are always Loved!.. However, last few ordered came in all different lengths- all mostly much shorter.. whats up with this? I get incon...sistent ans on where Athleta measures from now ?.. the Reg Med Im getting are not 51 3/4 inches.. they are all 1 to 3! inches shorter than same Reg Med 2 yrs ago. Ref: I am 130#, 5'6", 36B w/ 29.5" band, 30", 37".. The bands are Tight.. I first rip out those pads!! machine wash, hand Stretch the band, air dry (which is quick). Wearer needs to develope a system to get into this dress.. but once on so comfortable all day! or night! so worth the initial steuggle! Travels Very well, wrinkles fall out, soft against skin, Every stain has easily rinsed out of every one I own.. even ones Ive been wearing around world last almost 3yrs still looks close to new.. Very flattering cut (woman everywhere ask where from). Please explain the new length inconsistencies. (got a Med Petite for friend 5'4" and it hits 2" below her knees!!) I am 38 yo, 5'5 and about 125 lb. I've had 3 children so I was worried that this dress would accentuate my "mom pooch" but I ordered it because the reviews were so glowing and so many people said that it hugged their body in all the right places. I almost never write reviews, but felt compelled to s...hare that I found this dress to be very unflattering. I ordered a small, and that seemed like the right size; however, it made me look pregnant and I thought it made my arms look much larger and more masculine than they are. Even my husband who doesn't pay much attention to clothes in general agreed that the dress was unflattering. On the positive, it was a great material- thick but not heavy, soft, and the built in bra was great. But, I promptly returned it. I would not recommend.

This is the perfect vacation dress! Can be dressed up or down, folds up easily for packing. The cut in shoulder is flattering and the fabric offers ever so slight compression to make you feel secure. I'm 5'1" and 105 lbs and purchased the Petite Small so the dress has some drape to it. Will definitely be buying other colors.

I am 153 lbs 5'6" and 36D carry avg build and I found that the medium is pretty snug. it looks great, but the bra area is tight. I am going to try a large in the brown tone dress. it is flattering in black, but I think I want it less tight around my chest.

I've decided this dress will now be my uniform and I will wear it every day that I can, lol. I'm 5'3", 160lbs, 34D, and I got a Large Petite, and it's perfect. I'm usually a bit self conscious about form-fitting dresses because of my mom belly, but this fabric is lovely and drapes beautifully, not too clingy. It's very flattering. The built-in bra is the best for summertime. It's so comfortable and casual but easily dressed up. Highly recommend!

I love the signature rib material. It's lightweight and flattering (hides some imperfections). TTS - but if you are bigger chested, expect to still need a bra for proper support. For reference I am a 34DD and definitely need a bra as opposed to using the inserts. If it was full price, I likely would have passed on purchase because of this but for sale price, I am happy to add to my summer wardrobe.

This is my favorite item from Athleta! I have it in 4 colors. Most built in bras are too small for me but this one fits well and I normally wear the d-dd line in their bras! The dress drapes nice. Very comfy. Great for travel, walking around, vacation, and casual wear. The only feedback is I wish the cut on the side of the chest area was a little bit wider to prevent side boob (but that's because I have a larger chest, small waist band)
