I'm 5'4" and 130 lbs, athletic build, and purchased the S Petite. It's exactly what I wanted--an easy throw on dress to run errands, walk the beach and use for travel. It's lightweight and I love the soft material that is not too thick or too thin. Will be great to throw in my suitcase for warm d...estinations. Could be used as a dress for a casual dinner or a swim coverup. I wanted something semi loose but not like a tent. This dress met this requirement. I purchased both colors and wish there were more!
I love the earthy redwood color & soft fabric but the fit is not at all what I expected. In the photo online this dress looks like a comfortable slightly fitted dress that just skims the model's body.' I bought a Medium Regular which is usually a good size for me. I'm 5'4 130 lbs with mainly an athl...etic build but a little curvier on top so I expected this dress to at least be more fitted on top & a little more relaxed in the waist & hips. That would have been fine but it fit me like a tent with absolutely NO shape at all to it. You would think it was a XL at least by the way it fit. Perhaps I should have ordered a small but honestly don't think that would make a big difference given the overall shape of the dress. I'm sadly going to have to return it. I'm disappointed because it looked like a nice comfortable & versatile dress that could be easily dressed up or down.

Love this dress! It fits beautifully without being too tight. I ordered a size small for my 5'2" frame, and even with a bit of a tummy and curvy hips, the dress is incredibly flattering. It hugs in all the right places and gives a smooth, confident look. Highly recommend!

I don't yet have the dress so this review is about the shipping experience. Athleta tall size is not available in store so I ordered this dress online on May 15th. It is now June 28th and it has yet to be delivered, a month and a half later. The new sale does not tempt me because I don't know if my prior order will ever be delivered. This shipping experience has turned me off ordering Athleta online.
