So I didn't like the old Solace bra because the straps were a bit too long, and the band was just not supportive enough to those of us who need a little more gravity assist and motion-resistance. The new design seems to fix both of those issues. The straps also manage to hit over my shoulders at a s...pot that isn't resting on my traps (like a lot of racerbacks tend to do, and which causes discomfort). But like I said, still needs improvement. The front is a bit lower than I'd like, and the front piece is a multi-piece design sewn together.... and one part where all those seams meet is right at the V of the neck. With a smaller chest this might not be an issue, but larger girls means more stress on the fabric, which pulls at this part and causes the bulge where the seams meet to protrude a bit, and it is noticable through lighter weight shirts. I did keep the black Solace that I purchased, since I plan to wear it under tanks in the summer when I don't care if my bra shows, but I returned the Wicker color because it was not a great match for my skintone and was still very visible through light colored tops. Would love to see a tweaked design with a rounder neck and better seam management on the front side.
This was my VERY VERY FAVORITE bra!!!! I was trying to get it in 3 more colors and was so disappointed when they came and the first time wearing it to the gym it was so uncomfortable! The higher part that comes around from the armpit to the back, was digging into my back the whole time. I had to ke...ep trying to pull it around to adjust it.. I guess I'm a small D, so the coverage and support for me was perfect plus the lower back peice and straps were so comfortable.. I wish they could keep the old design and make it a C-D size... I returned my 3 new designs and sized up in the A-C but it's not the same. Now the straps dig in...

Love the back of this bra, however the front is slightly slouchy and the material is slightly loose. Almost feels like it was poorly put together. Still super cute and will be wearing just feels a little cheap!

As a fuller chest individual, I always struggle with finding stylish sports bras that are also supportive. This one is perfect! I bought it on a whim and am coming back for more.

I have a few solace bras in the regular size cut & they do alright… I order an extra large to accommodate my DDD size. But when Athleta came out with this bra in D-DD, I was excited to try one. They provide more coverage around the sides, back and chest areas—and fit so much better. For reference, I am size 34 DDD and ordered a medium in the Solace D-DD cut. It has more support and fits great—not to mention the strappy cuteness that shows with my tank tops on the tennis court! Good job Athleta! They also came out with another bra in D-DD size that I like even better. I can't remember the name of it but it is something like pro-form or perfect form… it is even better.

I am so happy that Athleta finally made solace bra on DD size! I have several of the regular sized solace bras and I buy an extra large to cover my DDD breasts. But now-the DD bras are made wider around the back and sides and give more coverage all around. So so happy! Make more colors please!

I love Athleta bras and this one is no different. My one complaint is the long line. Thick band tends to roll up.

This is still my favorite sporting bra for the past few years. I have about 5 of them. Yes, I like to say sporting instead of sports.

i'm a 34/36g and like how this fits on me. there's plenty of cleavage and enough support for low/medium impact. i do reformer and dance cardio in this (but i don't mind some bounce). it's a t!ts out look—if you want modest try something else i initially ordered an xl but the band was too big and it was overall a bit loose, so i sized down to a L and it's much more supportive.
