I'm a tall slender type, but I now have a few more lbs on me than I did before covid. So I strategically look for pieces that flatter my new body shape. I have a little extra in my belly and higher glutes. But I'm not interested in covering everything up. Just sizing and shaping and tailoring that... flatters best. This top is perfect for my new needs! Besides the lovely lightweight drape of the fabric, the key is in the proportions. The front stops just past my waist, just long enough to drape elegantly past my belly but still show my slender hips, giving the suggestion of a waist, preserving a slender silhouette. It doesn't look like I'm trying to hide anything. The back is even more genius. Slightly longer so it covers the top half of my glutes in a flattering way. But the genius is in this tiny pleat like detail that starts between the shoulder blades and falls gracefully in a straight line from my shoulder blades to the widest part of my glutes. Very very flattering and elegant. And it doesn't look like you're trying to hide anything. I feel slender and effortlessly gorgeous in this top! I'm 5'11", 175 lbs, 36B-C cup, 36" inseam so not a long torso, probably a size 10-12 these days depending, with a little extra in my belly, glutes and inner thighs. I bought these in Medium. Didn't need the tall. Just enough roomy drape to flatter my extra curves, but not voluminous. This top is my new go-to. Looks great over leggings, wide leg drapey pants, shorts. I'll be wearing this one everywhere all summer. I bought a few in White and Navy Blue, my fave colors. I wanted to add the Lilac shade, but I'm not a fan of ribbing. I wear these with a padded bralette for maximum comfort with no show-thru. The fabric is very lightweight so if show-thru is an issue for you, padding is the way to go. Love it!!
