Due to some weight loss, I had to buy another pair this year in a smaller size. This year's version is not as soft and seems thinner. I'm sad to let go of my previous pair for that reason alone. The old version hung & draped better, IMO. They're also long for my 5'2" frame despite getting the petite. Will need to alter. Otherwise, fairly true to size, if not a bit big. Size down if between sizes.

I used the size chart and ordered an XL which is often my size. I'm 5'8" and 189 lbs. my hips are 44.5". I'll return and try both a large and a medium. I wear a medium in the high waist forever fleece wide leg sweat pants. Pants are also long, but that seems to be the style now.

I bought the pants and the jacket both in large even though I wear medium in Athleta products for airflow during my 4 weeks exploring Egypt,Jordan Tunisia, Malta. Linen is perfect for the hot dry climate of the region. Because I had bought this online I didn't realize that the fabric would be a heavier weight linen which was unexpected but doable. It's perfect for the long haul plane rides as well as the hops between countries.

I wanted some comfy, cute pants that aren't leggings. These are a great color and fit, and I love the zippered pockets!

After wearing about once a week for two months, these pants have ripped in the crotch. I have never had this happen to my pants, very unfortunate as they're very comfortable and I love everything else about them.

I'm very tall, very curvy, and have to wear pants even in our crazy hot and humid summers here in Florida. I loved that these pants were natural fibers which worked nicely when it is hot, and I bought a total of 3 pairs over a few years. But unfortunately, they all wore out within months in the inner thighs. The first pair lasted longer than the last pair -- the material is different, scratchier than it used to be. I could deal with that if Athleta would find a way to reinforce the inner thigh. At my height I have so few outlets. But I've spent too much money on these now. So sad.

Great fit, comfy and long enough. They do run large so I always size down.

I have lost a few pounds and my natural colored retreat linen pants from last year have gotten too large. I ordered a size smaller and the fabric was different, not as soft. The legs were at least two inches longer even though it was a size smaller. The fit was way too tight, so I would need to go back to the larger size in the current version. I don't like tne pants nearly as much so I got a refund.

Good quality. Lays as flat as it can with my belly. Love the side zips. Feel great in.
