As a tall girl with a generous butt, I struggle to find shorts for work. These shorts keep me comfortable, somewhat fashionable, and modest while working outside in the summer. I like the generous front pockets and the mini zippered front pocket is great for keeping chapstick, cash, or cards secur...e. Generous pockets on the back would also be great. These shorts are washing well. I'm not sure how they'd do in the dryer, because I hang them to dry. I normally wear an XS or S for bottoms. I'm not sure how small they make these, but I probably could have fit into an XXS better for this style. The waist does seem to run a little big. Athleta, please make these shorts in more colors!

I purchased this style in 2024 and 2025, the fabric, length, color and design in 2024 are my favorite. 2025's version has been shortened and fabric feels so thin and flimsy. But since I love the color so i decided to keep it. I was so happy to see this beautiful blue color this year, but ended up r...eturning it after trying it on. It's so baggy and long, the fabric feels cheap. It is so frustrating that I have to return it. Please bring back the 2024 version with the grid fabric, it is stretchy while holding the shape. Overall I've been disappointed this year in your design, I can barely find anything stylish, flattering and functional.

Love them. I have them in 2 colors now. I love that they are a bit longer - make me feel so comfortable. The material is soft and airy and dries fast. And I love the zippered pocket. I wished there was another zippered pocket on the side right under the waistline on the side big enough to hold my phone - hint hint Athleta - it would be a big design improvement. But I love them anyway.

I had been struggling to find shorts that fit and that would work well for travelling and day-to-day but these... were the winner! Finally! They are comfortable, light-weight and will be great for enjoying my summer adventures. I ended up sizing down in these from my regular size.
