I was hesitant to order this because other reviews mentioned that it bagged out in the hips. I have narrow hips. I took a chance, thinking I could return, but it went final sale after I ordered it. I was surprised and pleased to find it is a perfect find that it is a perfect fit. I am 5'5" and 100... lbs. I ordered the size XXS. The material is thick enough but not too thick. It is a beautiful dress that can look very dressy or worn casually. I think the style and material make this dress just a bit dressier than the rib or tee dresses. Highly recommend!

The material, and color are great! But the fit does not work for me. The hip area balloons at the seams, like it's made for a curvy figure. Since I am not curvy, it looks like a design flaw. The fabric has great stretch, why not make the fit more streamlined? I am finding this problem with many A...thleta items. I have returned numerous pants due to baggy hip area.

I absolutely loveeee this dress. I purchased the first one in store in blue and the color is GORGEOUS. I got so many compliments on it. I wanted to buy it in brown and saw they had tall options, so I decided to try the tall because it is a *little* short. I ended up returning the tall because it just doesn't fit the same. I'm 5'10 and 155lbs and the regular medium fits me like a glove. I am very straight up and down and this dress gives the illusion of curves. It's short but not so short that it's unwearable.

Currently my favorite Athleta dress. I have this in black and the longer version in beige/brown. Love it, especially the short version. I purchased the black one last summer and wore it all the time in every season. It is perfect for hot weather but just add a sweater and leggings and it is perfect for fall or winter. This new blue version is a nice addition for my summer wardrobe. It has a fitted cut. I usually wear a small or medium depending on style. I have this in medium.

This used to be my FAVORITE throw-on dress. This year's fabric is significantly thinner than last year's, and the fit isn't the same at all. I was excited to repurchase as I've worn last year's versions so much that they're showing signs of wear. Unfortunately this year's version doesn't work for me.
