The top band around the waist and upper hip has changed from the Elation Ultra High Rise tight and also the flair version. The cut is nice. Still comfy, but note the material is lighter than before and the size is def smaller. I have larges in this style, the new large fits like a medium. Sending back. I've noticed Athleta is doing this a lot now, changing quality and fabric from prior items w same name.

I love these. They are comfortable and look nice. The only reason I took a star away is because they run small. I am a medium in athleta pants. A small once or twice but never a large. Well, these run so small that I needed a large. The waist band is a little loose but the large fits well. I kept the medium and can wear them because of the stretch, but the large just fits better. Fun fact, Old Navy has a similar pair. They are almost the same as the Athleta. They run small also.

Wow! I'm 5'9" and I thought I might have to hem these up a bit. Other company's sell tall sizes in a yoga-type pant, but they are often a smidge short and I'm forever tugging them down so they are not "floods." With this pant's generous length and straight leg, they sit nicely over my shoes without dragging on the floor. I love this yoga-type pant for the comfortable waistband and because it is not a legging, it can be dressed up and still look professional.
