I have both Transcends, with the front seam and without the front seam, and both are excellent. They are soft, flexible, and very comfortable. I am a guy and a runner and use the leggings for running, all of my workouts being outdoors. These are fairly thin and lightweight, which is what I prefer. T...hey manage moisture well, though sweat can be seen around the crotch area when working out in warmer weather. Some complain about this, but I do not understand that. I mean—you are working out…when you workout you sweat, and anyone seeing you would know this. To me, all that it shows is that it is warm and you are working hard. Be a Rocky—a sweat ring is a badge of honor! In any case, I do not notice much of a difference in comfort or performance with the no front seam version of the legging. Both are excellent, and the no front seam version may perhaps be just a tad more comfortable…maybe. The no front seam version does add seams on sides of the legs, which might be of interest to some. The front seam version does not have side seams, which I kind of like aesthetically, but it is no biggie either way. Speaking of aesthetics, these are rather plain leggings, but pretty in their own way. They give a very smooth appearance. Also, for you girly girls out there that like to wear panties under your leggings (like me) these show only a slight panty line, which does not bother me at all (Who cares?). Also regarding aesthetics, these sit up fairly high in the crotch, which is what I like. There is nothing worse than a saggy, droopy crotch. Only the All in Motion Dynamic Flex sit up higher there. Overall, these are well-made, lovely leggings. About the only thing I could add would be to offer these in a shimmer, gloss, or shiny version. Likewise, these are soft, but do not give that silky-soft feel. Very few leggings these days seem to have that silky-soft feel. These tweaks would make for one heck of a legging! And before I forget…the slate and waterfall colors are cute.
