This dress has a great shape to it, coming from a pretty curvy person. I'm 5'4" and 160lbs with pretty wide hips, bigger thighs, and small waist. This dress fits very nicely for my body type. Doesn't hug anywhere too tight but still has shape. Perfect length too - not too short or anything. I will s...ay this dress runs VERY big. Normally a M in typical Athleta clothes (and L/XL on bottom + M on top in other brands) and I got a small in this. Fabric quality is great per usual with Athleta clothing. I will say the reason for less stars is that it doesn't have a liner / shorts under the dress. The top part also just has a liner to cover chest and not a true built in bra, which is sad. Luckily I think society is more accepting of not wearing a bra so I still went for it. #sweepstakes
I love athleta products and I was so excited to get this dress. Being 4'11" (and 120#), I had to order online since petites aren't carried in the store- an issue with all products. I went to the Athleta store and tried on a small regular in this dress and it fit amazing and was so cute!! I ordered ...the small petite and received it quickly. It didn't fit anything like the small in-store. The small petite was actually bigger than the small I tried on. It was a little big in the top (I'm a 36C). I hoped once it was washed it would shrink enough to fit great, like the one in the store. Not only did it still not fit after washing, the top of the dress rolls over, inside out, showing the rubber line that is supposed to help hold the top up. It also looks old and wrinkly. I ironed it to try and make it look better but it doesn't. I'm so disappointed that I wasted money on a dress I won't ever wear. Of course it can't be returned since it's been washed. I do like the pockets and it is really short which I was happy with since I can't usually find things short enough. Otherwise, the dress just hangs with no definition- at all, even in the top. I would advise against wasting your money on this dress. I really wanted to love this dress but I'll prob end up giving it away. Again- soooo disappointed.

Easy breezy! This dress is effortless and perfect for hot summer days. I purchased it in both black and white and I'm so glad I did! Another reviewer mentioned how the material near the under arm (going towards the back) flips and gaps out. It does that to me too - more so on the white dress than the black. Even with that, I still love the dresses. I do not wear anything form fitting so the cut of these is perfect. I was also concerned because I have large breasts but the fit was not an issue at all. My usual size is just right.

I really like this dress. The material feels thick not like most sundresses. The pickeds are my favorite part. It does run really big. I originally bought a medium(my normal size) and it was way too big and not attractive. I ended yo trying the small and it worked.

I love it but ordered a size too big. It was on clearance so I can't return it. It was so cheap I will give it to someone. I ordered a Med and I hope it gets here before my trip. Really nice dress and easy to pack.
