The scrunchies have large tags sewn in, similar to those found on clothing. Unfortunately, the tags are bulky, stiff, and white, which makes the scrunchies difficult to use comfortably. Removing the tag isn't easy—you would need to carefully cut and resew the area to avoid damaging the scrunchie. This tag is not is the picture!!!

Quality is great however be prepared to spend time carefully removing GIANT tags which are sewn on. Defies logic. you will need a sewing tool to extricate the white threads out of the black scrunchie n be careful that you don't accidentally pull out black threads in the scrunchie itself. Annoying.

Really Athleta??? Giant labels on scrunchies, BIG NO! Your product development team made a big mistake. I like the other scrunchies that came in the little pouch...no giant white labels.

My mother in law swears by these scrunchies. She's very particular about what things she uses on her hair to protect it. Getting her another set of these for the holidays allows her to have some more options if her pesky dog happens to run off with one. Apparently dogs love them just as much. But maybe for a different reason than hers.
