These pants look great BUT...

These Athleta pants have a lot of thoughtful design features. The built-in elasticized gaiter made from a shiny, water-resistant synthetic is excellent — it seals around winter boots and keeps snow and moisture out. The wide, ribbed waistband is secure and comfortable at first, and I appreciate that...

Love my new pants …they are slightly tight at the waist but I will be able to steam the waist band so they fit perfectly. Love the thick fabric and the elastic on the inside bottom of the pant…also love the seam down the from and the zip flare. Very stylish They will make a great winter walking pant. I have already started using them. I bought a size 8. I weight 135 and I am 5'6" tall

Purchased for trip to Chilean Fjords. Love that they are lined and should help keep me warm and dry.

Great pants for cold weather adventures. They do run one size small for me. After trying a couple of sizes I settled on 4P. The white is a little bit see through if you are not layering underneath. I like them enough that I went back for the black on sale.

Super flattering

I love the cut of these pants. The fabric is stiff and very plastic feeling. The white is what I ordered and it is too sheer.

Great pants but careful with the size

These pants are perfect for my trip through the Canadian Rockies: warm, durable, stylish. I usually wear a 6 in Athleta (5'8", 125 lbs) but had to exchange for a 10. The waist was super snug. But I highly recommend them all the same for outdoor cold weather activities transitioning to dinner.

I bought these pants for a European ski trip for the sightseeing/exploring part of the trip. They did not disappoint. These were perfect for walking around the ski villages during the day and easily transitioned to dinner at night even in some ritzy restaurants. The seam on the front really elevates the look. I have also worn these pants cross country skate skiing as they are super stretchy and breathable while being water resistant. I'm 5'4" and 123 pounds and wear these pants in a 4 regular. I had ordered the 4P, and, while the length was better, they were very short in the stride. For reference, I usually wear a 4P in Athleta pants though I can sometimes wear a 2R. I have an athletic, upside down triangle body shape. I love them so much that I just ordered another color.

I really like these pants. They're a flattering fit with just the right flare at the bottom. They do definitely run small, so if you're curvier on the bottom, definitely size up 1-2 sizes. The reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars is that, by sizing up, the waist is now too big. Overall these are a nice outdoor pant.
