As someone who is petite, I am happy to have a shorter tank top that works for a short-waisted petite woman. As someone who wears this tank to teach on top of a spin bike, I am grateful for the high neck--AND for the thin, breathable fabric when my gym's spin room feels almost too hot and too sweaty.... As someone who is between sizes, knowing that this top (though relaxed) is seamless construction, I went for the higher of my two sizes and do not regret it...it helps the fit stay nice and relaxed for me, which I love. I have one gripe: I sweat a lot in my spin classes. And I use very STRONG deoderant. No matter what I use for laundry detergent (and lately I have been doubling up Rockin' Green Active Wear *and* Tide's formulation for active wear), the dried stink sweat from under my arms is not going away. I wish that this fabric was made with the stink-free materials that Athleta used a few years ago. Some of my tank tops have washed well and have gotten stink-free from the heavy duty wash cycle while others somehow have held on to the stink after washing. I can't explain it, and it's a bit annoying. OTHERWISE, I have zero problems with this tank top. I love it enough and it's perfect otherwise, so I still wear all of my colors super happily--this top is the ONLY top I wear to teach my spin classes!!!
I can't figure out why it's so hard to find a tank top that is full coverage in the back, meaning, I hate racerback tanks, or barely there tanks that show your sports bra and everything else. Athleta finally made one that I loved (the ascent top) and they stopped making it after one season. So I gav...e this one a try. I wore it today to a boot camp class, and the entire time we were doing burpees, I was having to pull my top down. The elastic did nothing to help it from sliding up. The other thing I hate about this top are the arm holes, they poof out in front of your armpits. I tried sizing down and it didn't help. I prefer my tops a bit loose and not skin tight form fitting, so I so usually size up only because I am a DD, but sizing down didn't help the poof in the armpits. Athleta, please bring back the ascent, it was so much better than this, from the material to the fit.

I have this tank in four colors and want more. It's the perfect tank for HIIT workouts because it stays in place and provides full coverage while keeping me cool. It's also easy to pack without getting wrinkled. Please do not discontinue - this is the only top you have that is a shorter length but not cropped, stays in place, provides full coverage, and is form fitting without being tight at all. It's irreplaceable!

Sadly, this is nothing like the other "In Motion Tank", which I have many. I assumed it was just a shorter looser version but the armholes are huge and the bottom does not have the gripper. Fabric even feels lighter if not lesser quality.

I love this top for hiking and active warm weather activities. I like the wide shoulder straps as a cloth barrier between my daypack and skin when I hike. I also like the gripper hem to keep my top down.
