The waist of a size 14 fit for us, but the shorts were way to short and kept riding up, so we tried size 16, but the waist of that one kept falling down, and when tightened it only wrinkled up. Maybe for someone with a larger waist/hip size, but definitely not us.

Purchased a full two week's worth of these shorts in navy and the white uniform polos for her camp requirements. Came home and washed them all and they all look brand new. After so much dirt and camp sweat. She says they were so comfortable. I love the length of the shorts, the built in underwear, and the adjustable tie. Please don't stop making these!
