Athleta is hit or miss for my girls, who are 11 and 9. This gorgeous black and white high rise swim bottom was a WINNER! The print is even prettier in person than online. My girl will always wear it print side out. :) My daughter is medium build and muscular with a rear end. She usually wears an XXL... in Gap, Old Navy, etc. but the XL fit her in this. So it runs a bit big. We bought it on sale and so glad we did - wish Athleta had sales more often.
Very narrow crotch area and this is a child's suit. It's too bad because the fabric and construction are great.

Very cute bathing suit! Runs true to size. I like that the bottoms come up higher and are modest. The bottoms look really long when not wearing, but once she put it on it was really cute and fits great.
