It's taken forever to get compression styles back at Athleta, so when these dropped, I was so excited I snapped up a few pairs. The good news is, their function does exactly what I need them to do -- good compression for high intensity workouts, giving me the support where I need it. And the highe...r waist is a major plus as well. But the frustrating news...the sweat marks are *real* in these, in any color but black. The first time it happened, I was in a HIIT class, so I opted not to wear them there again. I tried them later in a cycling class, thinking "the class is dark, no one will see, and by the time the lights come on at the end of class, they'll be uniformly soaked so it won't matter!" Wrong. I walked out with my jacket tied around my waist. So the only class I can wear them to I think would be heated yoga, where they *will* be uniformly soaked, but they're not designed for yoga. I wish I wasn't that self conscious, but crotch wetness showing for the world to see? No woman wants to have to accept that for the sake of compression/support, especially at this price point. I wish I was at the photo/video shoot when they were filming the promos for these -- how they kept those women dry must have been a huge on-set laugh. I'd written an earlier review saying the sweat marks were minimal, but I apparently didn't put these through their paces hard enough. I'm sorry if that led anyone astray and ultimately left disappointed!
