Loved the fit, loved the comfort, and loved that it's a tankini but didn't show everything. I'm 5"5, 135 lbs, and this came right below my naval which was perfect. I'm small breasted apparently because the flimsy cups collapsed against my breasts because I couldn't fill them out. I have thicker i...nserts from another bathing suit I'll just swap out for and hopefully it won't look like I have flattened and mis-shapen boobs.
I'll start off by saying that I've always liked Athleta's sports bras for D-DD sizes, and this year they redesigned a ton of the styles to provide MORE coverage and MORE support and way better fits an di LOVE their collection this year. HOWEVER, the swim did not follow suit (no pun intended). I'm ...typically an XS D-DD size in their sports bras and swim tops, sometimes a 32 or 34DD if it's bra sizing. I got my usual XS D-DD in this top in the black, and it was the most pointless swim top ever. The band provided no support and likely ran at least a size larger (and of course, no size smaller than an XS for me to size down), the straps were too long (or just too stretchy), and while the sides were higher (which is a plus), the foam pad inserts were hilariously small. If the normal foam pad insert was a drinking glass, these would be super thick walled shot glasses. They barely cover a n!pple, and are super curved and i feel like these were made for those really big barbie dolls that my friend had as a kid that were like 3-4ft tall. The fabric texture was fantastic tho so I did keep the true to size bottoms. The top is getting returned pronto.

I like the fabric on these. It is true to size. The bottom is a bit loose. The support is not there for D cup girlies so be ready for that.

This tankini is a great fit and comfortable to wear with or without a rash-guard shirt. It doesn't ride up and has great support. It is also good to use for outdoor water sports. The tall size is longer and stays on well. I purchase tall or regular and the fit is great. It doesn't ride up.

I usually have to size up to a L, but with the D-DD sizing, I didn't have to! The M fit my waist perfectly and there was enough room in the bust. For reference I am a 34E/F.
